What buyer information do you need to issue a firm offer/PI?
Please share: company details, destination port, Incoterms (FOB/CFR/CIF/DAP), product & grade/spec (Cu% for scrap), quantity (FCL), payment method (T/T or L/C), and any inspection requirements (e.g., SGS at loading). We’ll also complete KYC/AML. For L/C deals, bank coordinates and draft L/C terms are needed to align documents.
Can you hold/hedge prices?
Yes. We offer fixed-price quotes with validity windows or LME-linked formulas (quotation period defined in the contract). For programs, we can lock/hedge on your instruction once the contract and allocation are in place. Deposits or L/C issuance timelines apply before a price is secured
How are quality variances handled after arrival?
The contract defines the assay/inspection method, tolerances, and deductions. If a variance is proven by an agreed independent inspection (e.g., SGS/BV), we settle via price adjustment/credit note or replacement, aligned to the contract’s dispute window and procedures.
Can we mix grades or part-load containers?
We recommend single-grade per container for clean documentation and inspections. Mixing is possible only if compatible grades are clearly segregated and labeled, and may impact inspection scope and pricing. Part-loads are uncommon; we generally ship FCL for risk control and cost efficiency.
What copper products do you supply?
Copper Scrap aligned with ISRI selections (e.g., Berry, Candy, Birch/Cliff) with the target Cu% declared per lot.
Copper Cathode Grade A (ASTM B115) with Cu ≥ 99.99% (min), palletized and strapped.
Can you provide documentation?
Yes. Each shipment comes with Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Analysis/Assay, weight notes, and Bill of Lading. SGS/BV inspection can be arranged at loading or discharge if required by the buyer.
What is your standard lead time?
Typically 10–21 days from deposit/LC issuance and document confirmation, depending on lot readiness and vessel schedules
Do you handle compliance and licensing in Kenya?
We operate under Kenyan regulatory requirements and complete KYC/AML. Availability of scrap exports is subject to current Government of Kenya rules and licensing; we only ship compliant, verifiable lots.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide, subject to sanctions/export-control checks and route feasibility. Share your destination port and we’ll confirm transit time and best Incoterms.
